"Measurements using X-ray tomography for production and metrology lab
Thanks to the transmission tube – for the first time in a monoblock design – a small focal spot can be achieved even at high tube power, enabling fast measurements with high resolution. The monoblock design integrating tube, generator, and vacuum system has, for the first time, been realized in an open construction style. This results in both long maintenance intervals and a theoretically unlimited service life. Application areas include 3D measurements of, for example, connectors, plastic housings and covers, 3D-printed components, packaging, PET bottles, and preforms. The TomoScope® XS (registered design) can also be used for tool correction. Based on measurements of the workpiece, tool functionality and wear can be checked. For example, workpieces are inspected for signs of tool breakage and burr formation."
