Automated production plant for manufacturing pipe bends of SDR 11 and SDR 17 class.

Patented bending system in which the pipe ends are inserted into the bending radius during the bending process. This reduces the reduction of the pipe’s outer wall during bending and accordingly lowers the costly need for additional material to compensate for wall thickness loss.

Pipe bends can be produced with a final bend angle of 90°.

Flexible adjustment of bending angle.

Simultaneous heating of the bending preforms in a radiator field.

Rotation of bending preforms during heating to achieve homogeneous heat distribution.

Pipe ends are not heated, thus preserving their geometry. Therefore, the pipe bend can be further processed using conventional butt-welding techniques.
