Function:
The input material is drawn in by two slow-running, counter-rotating shafts (resulting in low dust and noise emissions), onto which cutter discs are mounted. This process is monitored by an intelligent and innovative PLC control system. Should the machine become overloaded or foreign objects enter the cutting mechanism, the control system reverses operation. The precise cutting gap of the cutter discs ensures energy-efficient shredding of the material. The mounted clearing comb prevents wrapping and uplift of the material being shredded. The width of the blades and the number of cutting edges determine the output size of the shredded material.
