Large-scale climatic test facility with S!MCON control system

Construction
The system consists of the following main assemblies:
- Walk-in, insulated test chamber
- Air treatment chamber
- Machine unit
- Climate control system
- Control cabinet

Test Chamber
The fixtures in the test chamber are made of corrosion-resistant material. The test chamber is walk-in, can be illuminated, and is equipped with a condensate water and cleaning drain.

Air Treatment Chamber
The air treatment chamber is located behind the air baffle within the insulated interior. It contains the components necessary for temperature conditioning and is accessible via easily removable panels:
- Test chamber fans

- Electric heaters
- Air supply and exhaust system
- Temperature sensors

Within the air treatment chamber, the air is conditioned (heating/cooling), humidified and dehumidified, and circulated by fans. The air is drawn in at the ceiling and discharged at the floor level.

Sensors
Temperature and humidity sensors are located behind the air baffle in the air treatment chamber.

Machine Unit
The machine unit, consisting of refrigeration units, supplies the required energy to the air treatment chamber.

Climate Control System
The climate system consists of:
- Steam humidifier
- Dehumidification evaporator
