As an additional advantage, I’d like to highlight the Scharmüller sliding plate in combination with the cross member and support struts. Utilizing these increases the towing capacity and allows for a support load for central axle trailers in the first place! This turns the ‘Kranimog’ into a compact, highly versatile towing vehicle that can also pull especially long trailers.

Height-adjustable trailer coupling
As another unique feature, this innovative overall concept gives you a height-adjustable trailer coupling, allowing you to tow various types of trailers. The following trailer loads apply:
Maximum towing capacity for turntable trailers: 14,700 kg
Maximum towing capacity for central axle trailers: 13,000 kg
Maximum support load: 1,000 kg
Maximum towing capacity for braked car trailers: 3,500 kg
All values are expressly approved by the vehicle manufacturer for truck registration and will be entered into your Unimog’s registration papers.
