The system consists of two identical laser welding units. The following components are part of the system:

Trumpf TruDisk 5001 laser source (laser source for both systems)
Trumpf disc laser 12-12-30-A32/11 with focusing optic (PFO)

Dosing unit HERDING Multicoater_MCI 55/1 (for adding additives into the filtration process)

Until recently, the system was used for the production of Li-ion batteries (E-Smart). Cell connectors for serial connection in battery modules were welded. The cycle time per battery module in this production was 3-4 minutes. The system was professionally dismantled in March 2025. A layout of the system can be found in the attached PDF.
