The V5 height measuring instrument is the successor to the legendary V+ series, of which thousands of units have already been sold to workshops worldwide and which are renowned for their user-friendly operation and high quality.

Trimos was the first company to launch vertical measuring instruments over 50 years ago. The V5 represents a culmination of the expertise gathered over the years. Its highly legible display and intuitive functions ensure exceptional user comfort. But there’s more: the V5 features a revolutionary displacement handwheel that allows the user to choose between manual and motorized movement of the measuring slide. Each mode operates uncompromisingly—users who prefer a manual instrument will notice no difference compared to a traditional manual gauge, and the same applies to motorized movement. This innovation eliminates the need for a difficult purchasing decision and allows multiple potential users to work with the same device.

The design of the V5, with its lateral probe holders, revives a long-standing Trimos tradition: they enable measurements with long, robust probes that guarantee excellent repeatability.
