(2x) Climate Chambers for Stability Testing

The system for the storage of stability samples consists of 2 climate chambers. Both climate chambers are supplied via an electrical control cabinet and have separate wiring diagrams.

The core of each climate chamber is a cold room cell manufactured by Viessmann. The climate chambers are identical in dimensions and fitted with stainless steel shelving.

The chambers were previously connected to a data acquisition system, which is currently not available. However, integration into a building management system is fundamentally possible and pre-configured.

The complete system was decommissioned in 2024 and has been fully qualified. Qualification documents can be provided upon request.

Delivery, installation and technical service were provided exclusively by ThermoTEC.

The owner is offering the listed items on an EXW (Ex Works) basis. This means that dismantling and loading of the items is the responsibility of the buyer.

The system essentially comprises:

- 2 constant climate chambers made of 80 mm PU panels, stainless steel floors and single-leaf hinged doors with frame heating
- 2 air conditioning inserts per chamber, consisting of:
- Chamber air recirculation fans
- Direct evaporation coil for cooling and dehumidification (refrigerant R404A)
- Electric resistance heating 2*1.5 kW
- Cold steam inlet hoses from ultrasonic humidifiers
- 2 air-cooled condensing units for chamber cooling and dehumidification
- 2 ultrasonic humidifiers with a capacity of 1 kg/h
- Central control cabinet for management and control of the climate chambers

The recirculated air in the climate chambers is drawn in by the air conditioning unit, conditioned, and blown back out at the front side.
A temperature and humidity sensor mounted in the intake area communicates the actual values of the chamber to the respective control loop.
Each control loop (temperature/humidity) features its own process controller on the control cabinet’s front panel.
Depending on requirements, the controllers operate the following functions:
> HEATING via electric resistance heaters
> COOLING via refrigeration unit and direct evaporation
> HUMIDIFICATION via ultrasonic humidifier
> DEHUMIDIFICATION via refrigeration unit and direct evaporation
Both chamber temperature and humidity are controlled automatically.
