The personal flash chromatography system CombiFlash Companion can be operated and monitored from anywhere using any internet connection and Microsoft Windows® Explorer. It will even notify you via email once the separation is complete. The advanced automation and communication capabilities of the system offer maximum productivity and worry-free operation, so you can focus on other tasks while the purification is in progress. The touchscreen controller allows you to operate the system locally via a clearly arranged display. The optional solvent management module controls up to four solvents online and monitors their levels, ensuring you never run out of solvent.

Companion uses precision-packed RediSep® Rf columns to provide more pure material in less time compared to glass columns or other disposable columns. Columns from 4 g to 330 g can be exchanged quickly without additional hardware, allowing for simple and fast scale-up from milligram to several tens of grams of purified sample.

CombiFlash Companion automatically detects the column size and sets itself up with optimal conditions for that column. To start a run, just press 'Play'. Since the software is specifically designed for purification and not for analysis, method parameters can be changed in real time. To adjust the gradient during a run, simply click on a point in the gradient profile and drag it to the desired value to instantly modify the solvent mixture.
