The primary application areas for these systems are industrial plants and welding shops where spot extraction is not feasible or where spot extraction alone is insufficient to maintain clean air in the facility. Laterally mounted channels with pick-up points capture contaminants from the air and direct it to the filtration section. Here, impurities in the form of fine particles accumulate on the surface of the cartridge filter.

A pulse of compressed air automatically cleans the cartridge filters at intervals as needed. When the compressed air is released, particles collected on the filter surface are detached and fall into the dust container. Clean air is then returned to the workspace via individually adjustable long-range nozzles. Simultaneously, the output of clean air directs contaminated air from the hall toward the extraction channels.

The filter is cleaned during operation by a microprocessor-controlled compressed air pulse system, ensuring high device efficiency. Low compressed air consumption thanks to the "Power-Spray" system.

The AIRTECH series devices are IFA certified in accordance with EN ISO 15012-1 or DIN EN ISO 21904-1/-2 and approved for welding fume class W3 as a fixed local extraction unit for welding fumes.
