The sterilizer is designed for steam sterilization of a broad range of materials such as laboratory glassware, infusion fluids, microbiological culture media and inocula, medical instruments, surgical linens, dressing materials, rubber products, as well as metal and plastic containers. Its primary areas of application are laboratories, hospitals, clinics, outpatient departments, and pharmacies.

The autoclave was operated until March 31, 2026 in the microbiological laboratory of the Silesian Library, where it was used as a “clean” device for sterilizing small-scale laboratory equipment—on average, once a week. It was dismantled in working condition and remains in good technical order. The unit has valid UDT inspections and is supplied with full manufacturer documentation, as well as the report from the latest inspection confirming the validity of the internal review and pressure test.
