Automatic cleaning

The electromagnetic overband magnet with automatic cleaning is installed above the conveyor belt and enables easy and efficient separation of magnetic particles from the conveyed material. This separator is primarily used in applications with a high presence of ferromagnetic particles, where manual cleaning would be unsuitable due to heavy contamination. Compared to permanent overband magnetic separators, the magnetic field generated by electromagnetic plates is significantly stronger and deeper. Electromagnetic separators are excellent for capturing irregularly shaped parts (such as screws, nuts, balls, etc.) as well as heavier iron parts.

The extremely powerful electromagnetic field also ensures the separation of ferromagnetic particles located beneath higher layers of the material flow. Furthermore, the electromagnet offers an exclusive solution for applications where it is necessary to deactivate the magnetic field (for example, due to operational or maintenance reasons), which is not possible with permanent magnets.
