Industrial Water Treatment System – SIMPEC RO Double Pass 8000 44 8

The system is a fully automatic, two-stage reverse osmosis (RO) unit designed for industrial applications with high-purity water demand. It is engineered for process water recycling, landfill leachate treatment, biogas and agricultural operations, as well as the food and chemical industries.

The system is pre-assembled on a stainless steel skid and includes all essential components for water treatment, including chemical dosing, filtration, high-pressure pumps, and automation.

⚙️ Process Description

Feed & Pre-Filtration
Raw water is supplied via a stainless steel pump to a multimedia filter (MMF) for removal of suspended solids, followed by fine filtration through cartridge filters.

First RO Stage (High Pressure)
The pre-treated water is fed by a 44 kW high-pressure pump into six RO pressure vessels with a total of 36 membranes.
Result: Permeate with < 1000 µS/cm conductivity.

Second RO Stage (Polishing)
The permeate from stage one is further purified through two RO vessels (8 membranes).
Result: Ultrapure water with conductivity < 100 µS/cm.

Chemical Dosing
Three dosing pumps control:
- Antiscalant / acid in the feed
- NaOH for concentrate pH correction

Automatic Control
All operating parameters (pressure, conductivity, flow, pH, temperature) are monitored by sensors and displayed on the Siemens HMI. Operation is fully automatic with start/stop cycles and alarm management.
