For sale is a used temperature calibrator by Sika, based in Kaufungen (Made in Germany).
The device was solely used in our calibration laboratory as a micro-bath/oil bath and is no longer needed. No additional accessories are included, but these are available from the manufacturer. (Other measuring equipment shown in the image is not part of the offer.)

Micro-bath function
When temperature sensors with unusual shapes or dimensions need to be tested, the use of calibration liquids offers advantages. The device under test is placed directly into the liquid without air gaps, ensuring direct thermal contact between the calibrator and the test object. The calibration fluid, e.g. silicone oil, is selected according to the required calibration temperature. The continuously adjustable magnetic stirrer, together with the removable sensor basket, ensures thorough mixing of the calibration liquid and creates a large measurement zone. Furthermore, the sensor basket secures undisturbed stirring operation and protects the tank bottom.
Dry block function
The dry block function is designed to enable straightforward temperature calibration both in the laboratory and in the field. Optimal thermal coupling between the block and the test piece is achieved via the appropriate sleeve. Ideally, the sleeve's bore should be 0.5 mm larger than the outside diameter of the test probe. With the help of interchangeable sleeves, almost all straight temperature sensors of different lengths and diameters can be calibrated. The dry block covers the entire temperature range without changing the calibration medium. The user does not have to worry about viscosities, flash points, or outgassing.
Blackbody function
For calibrating IR pyrometers or thermal imaging cameras, a patented infrared calibration sleeve is used. The unique surface structure and asymmetrical shapes create a 'black cavity radiator' with an emissivity factor of 0.9994, preventing the reflection of stray radiation and providing optimal temperature emission. The pyrometer is simply positioned at the prescribed distance above the measuring opening, allowing the desired measurement spot to be targeted on the base for calibration. Direct tripod mounting is possible.
Surface temperature function
Surface temperature sensors are calibrated using special sleeves that are pressed vertically with the required force. The best possible temperature reference point on the sleeve surface is achieved by switching the calibrator control to an external reference sensor.
