Mechatronics RPU-2100R Reagent Production Unit

The Mechatronics RPU-2100R is a reagent production unit used in hematology to optimize reagent logistics in laboratories.
The unit is manufactured by RR Mechatronics and is often used in conjunction with hematology analyzers from Sysmex.

Purpose and Function

The RPU-2100R (Reagent Production Unit) is designed to automatically dilute concentrated reagents (such as Cellpack S Conc.) and produce large quantities of ready-to-use reagent directly on site in the laboratory.

The RPU-2100R is a stand-alone device whose components are all housed in a closed casing.
The casing features removable, epoxy-coated sheet metal covers.
All external connections as well as the ON/OFF switch are located on the rear of the device.
All user-serviceable and replaceable components are accessible via the front door.
The cart for the Cellpack concentrate (e.g., Cellpack®-S Conc.) can be attached to three sides of the unit.

The RPU-2100R focuses on optimizing reagent management for high-throughput laboratories:
Reagent concentrates: Uses Cellpack S Conc. in 10L and 20L containers.

Throughput per concentrate:
With a 10L container, up to 8,250 CBCs per month can be performed without changing reagents.
With a 20L container, up to 16,500 CBCs per month are possible.
Shelf life: The prepared reagent is stable for 30 days after opening.
