Principle: The wastewater is fed into the inlet of the inclined plate clarifier and flows downward. Due to the arrangement of the lamella plates in the clarifier, the wastewater is redirected below the plates and flows upwards through the lamella. Solids settle onto the lamella plates and slide downwards along the plates into the sludge hopper. The clarified water is transported to the outlet.

Rake mechanism: Optionally, we offer the inclined plate clarifier with a rake mechanism to keep the sludge in a flowable state.

Application: Separation of solids and liquids by sedimentation. Inclined plate clarifiers are often used as a preliminary stage before filter presses or decanters for thickening. Pre-thickening of thin sludge allows the filter press to be dimensioned smaller in terms of filter area.

The system is in good condition and available for rent or purchase. Inspection at our facility can be arranged by appointment. We also offer new inclined plate clarifiers with a delivery time of approx. 8 to 10 weeks!
