Technical Description of the mtr System:
The mtr system is a highly flexible power & free system that uses the Micro Trolley (mtr) as the central carrier. Its 3-dimensional rail system permits versatile routing, including inclines of up to 30 degrees. With an impressive machine capacity of nearly 8,000 carriers per hour on a conveyor line, the system ensures high throughput.
Automated material flow is managed by pneumatically controlled entry and exit switches, which are available as passive gravity and horizontal switches or as active, driven horizontal switches. Additional functional elements such as non-powered gravity tracks for buffering, accumulation, and transfer tasks, pneumatic stops, and pneumatic trolley separators with integrated trolley scanners for precise destination control and sorting make the mtr system a comprehensive solution.
