Opis
The new cold-regenerating adsorption dryer from Parker Zander combines proven and reliable elements of adsorption technology and stands out with a clear concept.
Key features of the K-MT series adsorption dryers include:
• Monolithic adsorber profiles
• Separately controlled, leak-proof main and exhaust valves
• Compact check valve combination
These ensure continuous operational safety alongside high availability.
All K-MT series adsorption dryers are equipped with:
• Self-cleaning screen plates on the wet side
• High-quality desiccants
In adsorption, the desiccant captures the moisture contained in the compressed air. Parker Zander uses only highly active molecular sieve desiccant with high capacity. This guarantees long service life even at high inlet temperatures or low pressure dew points.
Regeneration occurs countercurrent to adsorption. A portion of the dried compressed air is expanded to atmospheric pressure and passed through the desiccant bed for regeneration. The moisture stored during adsorption is removed by a partial flow of the dry regeneration air.
The regeneration air consumption of 14.3% for cold-regenerating adsorption dryers is based on:
Operating pressure: 7 bar
Inlet temperature: 35°C
Pressure dew point: -40°C
with a cycle of:
- 5 minutes adsorption
- 4 minutes desorption
- 1 minute repressurization
The Parker Zander 10-minute cycle, with 5 minutes adsorption, includes 12 load changes per hour. The industry-standard 6-minute cycle, with 3 minutes adsorption, requires 20 load changes per hour and accordingly results in 5.6% higher regeneration. The 10-minute Parker Zander cycle saves energy costs with reduced wear.
Multitronic Control System
With innovative features and a new design, it is precisely tuned to the K-MT series of cold-regenerating adsorption dryers. It allows highly effective adaptation of the dryer to varied operating situations. From permanent visual status indication to pressure dew point control, multitronic offers clear benefits for operators. Housed in a clear, easily accessible control cabinet, the multitronic system offers:
