Attractive MB Vario 814D from government/State Police ownership:

Configuration as a bus (personnel carrier) MR / high roof with auxiliary heater, driver airbag, ABS and differential lock on the rear axle as well as a retarder. This is an electric, wear-free eddy current brake for speed regulation.

The bodywork was professionally repaired in our own workshop and then the rear half-height was repainted. We disassemble the vehicles beforehand and, after painting, permanently seal the body seams with elastic sealant. The frame/chassis of this Vario was also partially de-rusted and painted, and finally permanently preserved with wax.

Additionally, this Vario received a fresh inspection including engine oil and brake fluid change, all 4 batteries renewed, as well as a new air dryer for the brake system. The plastic glazing in the driver’s cab has also been replaced with real glass.

Thanks to the good insulation properties, the plastic glazing was left in the rear compartment.

An ideal base for a spacious motorhome – we can professionally convert it to special vehicle registration as a motorhome (So-KFZ Wohnmobil) for an additional €600. In this case, the vehicle will also receive a 220V external power hookup with RCD safety circuit and 2 interior power sockets.

Auxiliary heater works very efficiently:
This is a water circulation heating system with convectors in the passenger compartment for draught-free heating.

The air conditioning system was decommissioned by the authorities, meaning the former air ducts could now be removed to make space for overhead lockers.

Top speed due to long rear axle ratio: Vmax as per documents 120 km/h.

Total of 11 seats, the seats in the passenger area are lounge seats – with adjustable backrests and armrests. The left inner seats can be moved approx. 10 cm into the aisle for increased freedom of movement. There are a total of three effective roof hatches.
