With the Setra SG 221 HDS, Kässbohrer had a vision, but the ban on operating articulated coaches for tourist trips through France led the Ulm team to shift focus to non-articulated vehicles. From then on, the SG 221 HDS was used as a demonstration and information vehicle at trade fairs and conferences.
