Mercedes Benz 1017 AF former fire truck (classic vehicle), possible camper conversion

For sale is a Mercedes 1017, previously used as a fire truck.

The vehicle has run just under 50,000 km.
First registration: 26.04.1978

It was in service with a factory fire department until about 3 years ago, so all maintenance has been carried out regularly and properly.
The vehicle received a historic ("H") registration when I registered it.
It has been re-registered from an official (government) vehicle to a private vehicle accordingly.
I also had to retrofit an underrun protection, which is an original Mercedes part.

The engine starts perfectly and the gearbox works flawlessly.
There is no rust on the chassis, only some rust on the front wheel arches.
Considering its age, the truck is in good condition.
TÜV (MOT) and SP (safety inspection) will be renewed upon request before sale.
