MERCEDES-BENZ 308 D-KA Feuerwehr hoch/lang *TÜV 2028+Oldtimer*

1st hand – German voluntary fire brigade.

TÜV valid until 03/2028.

A classic vehicle inspection (according to §23 StVZO in conjunction with §21 StVZO as “Oldtimer special vehicle fire engine equipment carrier” [for H registration]) was carried out by TÜV Rheinland on 09.03.2026.

Engine oil with filter / brake fluid / 4x glow plugs / wiper blades – all COMPLETELY NEW and replaced in a specialized workshop in 02/2026 with invoice.

Direct from the garage, most recently with its first owner, including the original registration documents and even the first vehicle registration certificate from 1989. Always registered.

Only 21,000 total kilometers driven.

Very sound Bremer Transporter T1, medium wheelbase version with the robust factory all-steel high roof.

Body condition in detail: Only 2 minor rust spots (right rear wheel arch and left side wall). Nothing else, not even at the “typical Bremer rust zones”; on this example, these points are all “clean” and have never been repaired. Only the right front wheel arch was previously repaired. Normal signs of use exist. Undercarriage is also in good condition.

This 308 D was sold to us by the original owner/community as “accident free”.

As-new winter tyres (DOT 2022).

Tall 270-degree rear doors, fog lamps, rear axle stabilizer, and reinforced shock absorbers.

Otherwise, absolute base version. No seat belts. No power steering. No ABS. Pure 1980s – back then they really built durable, reliable vehicles. There is little here that can go wrong.

Engine: OM 601, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated diesel, 79 hp.

5-speed manual transmission.

127 km/h listed as maximum speed.

When opening the sliding door, a large mechanical entry step extends.

The vehicle was used by the fire brigade as an equipment transporter and is fitted with shelving, which can be easily removed if required.

Unladen weight 2,320 kg (with all equipment included).

Permissible gross weight – unchanged from factory to today – 3,500 kg.

This means the 308 D-KA can be driven immediately with a modern passenger car driving licence.

The special signal system (emergency light/siren) was dismantled by the fire brigade before sale and is no longer present.

The vehicle runs very well, and transfer on the motorway was pure pleasure.
