Application
This foulard-dryer combination has proven itself exceptionally well in practical applications. It is used in various treatment processes involving hot air, such as drying, fixing, condensing, thermosoling, etc. This unit is employed wherever a certain sample size is required, for example, in the production of sample collections or similar.
THN Dryer
If all the aforementioned application possibilities are to be ensured and the use of pin frames is also desired during standalone dryer operation, the THN model is recommended.
The standard pin frames are suitable for sample sizes of up to 50 x 50 cm (larger pin frames available upon request).
Adjustable longitudinal frames for woven fabrics, or adjustable both in length and width for knitted or looped goods, nonwovens, etc., as well as clamping frames for films and paper, are available as options.
Drying Chamber

The drying chamber, together with the electrical control box and operation panel, are mounted on a base frame and bolted together as a single unit.
Effective thermal insulation is provided by a double-walled construction with interstitial insulation.
The nozzle field, with a length of 1300 mm, is divided into upper and lower nozzle compartments. An adjustable damper allows for balanced air distribution (top/bottom) or for deflecting more air either from above or below as needed.
Fan and Heating System
Intensive air circulation is ensured by a high-performance fan with a capacity of approximately 900-3500 m³/h, combined with a well-matched heating output for optimal evaporation.
A dual-protected monitoring system reduces maintenance requirements and increases the operational safety of the dryer.
The heating output is designed for rapid heat-up and is automatically reduced after reaching the desired temperature to avoid unnecessary peak power consumption.
Temperature is controlled by an electronic measurement and control device, adjustable within a range of 20-250°C.
Fresh air is fed directly into the recirculating fan by a separate fan. The desired amount can be set with a multi-stage switch.
