The Magirus-Deutz Uranus was a truck model manufactured by the German commercial vehicle producer Magirus-Deutz in Ulm. Equipped with 250 hp from an air-cooled V12 engine by Klöckner-Humboldt-Deutz, the Uranus was the most powerful truck produced in Germany at its time. This heavy, three-axle vehicle was launched in 1954 as the A12000 Uranus and served as the base chassis for fire service and military crane trucks, as well as heavy-duty tractors. There were also versions as tractor units and dump trucks, mainly built for export.
This particular vehicle is a truly stunning collector's item, with an interior in outstanding, original condition—evidence of its low mileage. The original spare parts list, instruction manual, and operating handbook are included with the vehicle. The vehicle underwent a restoration costing approximately €150,000!
