Recycling Plant for PVC Windows with Granulate Output (12 mm / 40 mm)

The recycling plant is designed as a modular processing line for handling dismantled PVC windows. The goal of the plant is the efficient size reduction, separation, and classification of material into reusable plastic granules of defined particle sizes (approx. 12 mm or 40 mm).

The plant consists of the following main components:

1. Feeding and Conveying System

The input material (PVC windows including attached materials such as seals, metal fittings, and contaminants) is manually loaded via a designated feeding area.

2. Pre-Shredding (Shredder)
A powerful four-shaft shredder performs the coarse size reduction of the window frames. The objective is to reduce bulky components to a manageable format and prepare them for subsequent process steps.

3. Conveyor Technology
Multiple conveyor belts link the individual process stages. They ensure a consistent material flow and optionally allow for manual visual inspection or post-sorting.

4. Metal Separation
To remove metallic components (e.g., steel reinforcements, screws, fittings), a magnetic separator is installed. This is configured as an overband magnet and reliably separates ferrous metals from the material stream.

5. Screening Unit (Classification)
The shredded material passes through a screening unit, where it is separated by particle size. Depending on the installed screen deck, defined fractions are produced, for example:
- approx. 12 mm granulate (fine)
- approx. 40 mm granulate (coarse)

6. Cleaning / Contaminant Removal
Light impurities (dust, residual seals, foreign matter) are removed via mechanical or pneumatic separation methods. This step improves the quality of the final granulate.

7. Discharge and Storage
The finished granulate is discharged via conveyor belts and filled into big bags for storage.
