Immersion coolers are designed for cooling water, oil, and emulsions. The plug-and-play immersion coolers are fully ready for installation and suitable for a wide range of machinery layouts.
An agitator ensures uniform medium temperature in the Gamma series immersion cooler models. Easy cleaning is possible thanks to crane eyelets on the cooling unit.
The HYFRA Gamma series models are designed as immersion coolers for cooling water, oil, and emulsions. These plug-and-play immersion coolers require a footprint of just 0.5 m² and can be easily integrated into various machine layouts, making them highly suitable for flexible production environments.

Despite the compact footprint of only 0.5 m², cooling capacities of up to 28 kW are possible. This provides significant flexibility advantages in the layout planning of production areas and contributes to a noticeable increase in productivity, as more processing machines can be accommodated. In the compact models of our immersion coolers, the condenser is installed horizontally. This specific design ensures significantly reduced heat dissipation to the surroundings, so internal components remain unaffected by the waste heat.
All immersion cooler models in this series feature a robust agitator for uniform medium temperature in the lubricant tank. For scheduled cleaning, the HYFRA Gamma series can be easily lifted out of the tank using the fixed crane eyelets.

How does an immersion cooler work?
With immersion coolers, the evaporator of the cooler is immersed directly into the cooling medium. The fluid, located in a tank, is continuously and vigorously circulated for optimal cooling performance. High-performance agitators assist this process.
What applications are immersion coolers suitable for?
Immersion coolers are frequently used to control the temperature of coolant lubricants in filtration and mechanical engineering applications to ensure the performance of utilized equipment. In metalworking, they are also used indirectly to cool tools and workpieces, making them ideal for milling and grinding operations on CNC machines or conventional machine tools.
Immersion coolers with modern controls and comprehensive features
Depending on cooling requirements, HYFRA Gamma model immersion coolers are equipped with either FreeSmart or FreeAdvanced controllers. The combination of the FreeAdvanced controller with a touch panel offers a structured overview and convenient reading of all key parameters. Both freely programmable controllers feature several digital and analog inputs/outputs. The FreeAdvanced controller additionally includes a full-text display and supports Modbus-TCP.
