The calender consists of the following assemblies:
- Roller assembly (4 rollers)
- Roller drive assembly
- Frame assemblies
- Travel mechanism
- Control cabinet

The roller assembly comprises 4 rollers of different diameters. The rollers are mounted on a common frame, which allows for adjustment of their relative positions (changing the gap between rollers). The gap between rollers 1 and 2 is adjusted using adjustment screws driven by MRA-63 type worm gear reducers. The gap between rollers 2 and 3 is adjusted manually by turning adjustment screws.

Each roller has an independent drive, allowing for adjustment of the rotational speed.

Roller speed and sheet thickness settings are controlled from the operator panel in the calender’s control cabinet.

Above the last roller (no. 4), a pressure roller and disc knives for trimming the sheet’s outer edges are installed. The distance between the knives is adjustable, allowing the production of sheets with various widths.

Oglas je bil preveden samodejno, zaradi česar je morda prišlo do napak pri prevodu.
