The SBM-series compressed air blasting units are mobile machines designed for advanced surface treatment using compressed air and abrasive grit. The beneficial conical shape of the bottom facilitates abrasive flow, and the option to use various valve types makes it suitable for processing all types of blasting media—including spherical, rounded, or angular shapes of any grit size.

SBM-series blasting units can achieve surface cleanliness up to class SA-3/SP5 and capacities of up to 106 m²/h. The SBM-series sandblasters are equipped with large claw couplings which provide quick and secure connections even at high compressed air flow rates. Abrasive loading is performed by a pneumatically operated rubber membrane—eliminating the need for inefficient threaded connections—which makes SBM-series blasters safer and easier to use. The blasting unit also features a large inspection valve for rapid tank emptying and internal inspection. SBM-series blast units support simultaneous operation with one or two blasting nozzles (depending on model).

Operation of the blasting unit (available in pneumatic or electric configuration) is intuitive and precise, as the control handle is placed at the end of the working hose. The undeniable advantage of this solution is that the operator performing the cleaning can interrupt the machine's operation, as required by the latest health and safety regulations (solution available as an additional option).

The tank of the SBM blasting system has been designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU, based on and supervised by a design approved by a notified body, and is CE-marked.
