In combination with the Scharmüller cross member and drawbar trolley, the following towing capacities are possible:

- Trailer without brakes: 750 kg
- Centrally-axled trailer: 13,000 kg; Drawbar load: 1,000 kg

This makes the U5023 a truly multifunctional towing vehicle, from passenger car trailers and centrally-axled trailers to conventional turntable trailers, in any possible height—the right coupling for every purpose!
