New external cylindrical grinding machine, manufacturer Kraft, model URS 1000, year of manufacture 2022.

An unused machine base of a hydraulically operated URS 1000, as well as unused cast components, were used for the manufacture of this machine.

The offered machine URS 1000 CNC is equipped with 2-axis ball screw drives, axis drives, and a PLC control system. The user-friendly Siemens PLC S7-1200 is used as the control.

The entire machine features an effective partial enclosure.

With the Siemens PLC S7, multiple diameters can easily be programmed and ground. Furthermore, the machine is suitable for the following operations: longitudinal grinding, plunge grinding, stepwise plunge grinding, automatic dressing, and dressing compensation. Up to 30 individual programs can be stored, and 10 programs (10 diameters) can be linked in one cycle.

The operator can interrupt the cycle at any time to measure the workpiece, enter compensation, and finish grind to final dimension.

The control interface is very easy to use!

The production of curves, radii, and ellipses is not possible with this control system.
