System configuration:

1. Main wash zone:
– Equipped with a centrifugal pump (2.2 kW, 900 l/min at approx. 1 bar), distributing the wash solution to a total of 50 stainless steel nozzles, ensuring thorough cleaning from all four sides.
– The wash solution is continuously filtered through a plate filter.

Crates are transported through a spiral conveyor (KITZINGER utility patent), ensuring precise crate singulation and unobstructed application of wash solution for comprehensive cleaning on all sides.

2. Rinse zone:
– Clean water is used to thoroughly spray the products from all sides after washing.
– The incoming fresh water must be at least 45°C and is heated in the system to approx. 80°C. Approx. 250-300 l is required per hour.
