The NC joining modules NCFH type 2151B... consist of a robust housing containing an integrated absolute linear position sensor and a piezoelectric compression-tension force sensor. Compression or tension forces acting on the sensor generate a proportional electrical charge in the piezoelectric measuring element, which is converted by the integrated charge amplifier into an analog voltage signal.

The drive motor is an electronically commutated AC servo hollow shaft motor, controlled by a servo amplifier. Constant speed, that is, constant travel velocity, is ensured. Standard functions such as joining to hard stop (block), position joining, force-controlled joining, and intermediate positioning are supported.
