The PREMIUM 5030 is a 3-axis high-speed cutting (HSC) milling system specifically designed for the highly precise machining of fine mechanical small parts, micro-machining, and the milling of graphite/copper electrodes. To meet these stringent accuracy requirements, all essential elements for process-reliable production have been integrated into the machine design. The rigid machine base, consisting of a natural hard-rock granite gantry with a decoupled Y-axis, guarantees high stiffness and long-term stability.

The individual granite elements are manufactured to DIN 876 / grade 00 accuracy. State-of-the-art linear motor technology and the incremental measuring system ensure maximum positioning accuracy with high-dynamic feed rates. Ultra-fast control technologies (high-speed cutting) guarantee smooth path movements with maximum precision and intuitive operation; here, the Heidenhain® TNC 640 is used as the control unit.
