The iMG 1010 is a compact solution for machining workpieces up to 100x100x100 mm. With its polymer concrete base frame, it enables precise machining of a wide range of materials such as titanium, steel, CoCr, ceramics, sapphire, zirconium, or aluminum. Notably, the Y-axis arrangement ensures high stability and outstanding vibration damping due to its installation position. Nearly all positions on the workpiece can be reached without reclamping. The variety of workpiece clamping devices and holders, in combination with the zero-point clamping system, make this machine a versatile machining center. Its design allows for both wet and dry machining without the need for time-consuming conversions. The CNC machine can be expanded with an optional automated loading and unloading system, which can access the machining area from the right, left, or above. This enables automated workpiece changes.
The zero-point clamping system serves as an interface and ensures the precise and repeatable positioning of the workpiece. With software interfaces, the system can be integrated into networked, automated production processes. The maintenance-friendly design and durable direct-drive spindles reduce service costs and downtime, offering a reliable machining platform.
