Sector segment driven by a double set of curve gears instead of the previous triple set system. This results in smoother, vibration-free operation of the gripper carriages.
Chains replaced in May 2023
Gripper carriages repaired where necessary, but not replaced. Current tolerance at the front lay with rigid board types: < 0.15mm
Electromagnetic clutch (24 VDC, Warner) replaced in May 2023, as well as all bearings on this shaft, including those in the casing just before and after the worm.
Oil seals replaced
Gearboxes flushed and thoroughly cleaned for transition from mineral oil to full-synthetic. Absolutely no foaming, quieter operation.
Dismantling scheduled for 23/12/2025; available for sale ex warehouse Van Rooij from that date.
