Durable, Dual Motor Drive & Electric Steering
The 18 BT-9U is equipped with an electric steering system that operates with high efficiency. The forklift draws power from its dual motor drive. The installed ZF drive, Schabmüller motor, and ZAPI controller are designed for exceptional durability. Its semi-permanently oil-cooled disc brakes make the electric forklift reliable and dependable throughout extended use. The Continental solid tires are also designed for long-term operation.

Easy Maintenance & Extended Operating Time
The forklift was designed for easy maintenance. Its battery is mounted laterally, allowing for easy removal and quick replacement. With a self-diagnosis function, all operating data can be read quickly. The brake fluid reservoir can also be easily removed and filled with minimal effort. The forklift itself is of a compact design to further improve performance. Additionally, energy consumption has been optimized—battery operating time of the 18 BT-9U has been increased by 21% compared to the previous model.

Safe & Ergonomic Operation
To ensure operator safety, this electric forklift is fitted with a panoramic mirror, mast lowering valves, electric parking brake, and reinforced overhead guard. The wide field of view ensures the operator can always see the forks and the load. The operator presence detection system ensures the 18 BT-9U can only be driven when the driver is seated. For safe cornering, the travel speed is reduced automatically, and the anti-rollback feature ensures the forklift remains stationary on ramps.
The generously dimensioned driver’s cabin with fingertip controls and a suspended comfort seat ensures optimum ergonomics. All levers can be operated effortlessly. The color LCD monitor provides at-a-glance information on all key parameters, such as speed and battery charge status.
