All 60 flail tips were newly replaced just a few operating hours ago.

Both NOx sensors and the AdBlue sensors are new.

FLAIL SHREDDER HFG VI

"These powerful Husmann machines, designated "HFG (Husmann Forest Machines)", achieve uniform, fine, and clean shredding through special impact technology and the arrangement of the flails.

The shredded material is conveyed via a large intake hopper equipped with a forged steel chain conveyor to the feed roller and then to the flail rotor. The pendulum-mounted feed roller is rack-guided and driven hydraulically by a large reduction gear. The feed roller, which adjusts to the incoming material, can also be controlled and lifted by remote control. The roller or feed opening of 460 mm ensures smooth and quick feeding.

The robust rotor made of high-quality steel (1000 kg) is shatterproof even when processing heavy foreign objects, thanks to additional reinforcements and sophisticated construction technology. Mounted on the eight hardened flail shafts are 60 free-swinging flails, arranged offset. The quick-change system involves bolting the tungsten carbide-tipped flail tips to the flail holder. The large number of 50 mm wide flails and the rotor's direction of rotation across a breaker edge onto the feed belt allows for optimal shredding of material, making it suitable for composting. The load-dependent and steplessly adjustable feed speed of the scraper floor and feed roller allows further control and improvement of the quality of the output.

The design of the rotor housing and discharge area allows the material pile to reach a height of up to 2.5 meters. The powerful 205 kW auxiliary engine is easily accessible through large service doors, ensuring ease of operation and maintenance. Clear controls and safety features such as rotor overload protection and reverse mechanism are hallmarks of our system.

The mobile shredding unit is equipped with an 80 km/h chassis with air brakes and is optionally available as a stationary unit or fitted with a hook-lift frame.
