The HERBOLD Plastcompactor is a system designed for the agglomeration of films, fibers, shavings, dust, and flakes. It transforms poorly free-flowing waste into agglomerate with high bulk density and good flow properties, making it suitable for direct feeding into extruders and injection molding machines.

The unit for sale is equipped with a main drive motor rated at 110 kW and offers a throughput capacity of 600 to 2,000 kg/h, depending on the input material. All thermoplastic plastics can be processed, including delicate materials such as PET, PA, and bioplastics, which can be agglomerated without thermal damage or discoloration.

The system comprises the feed device with silo, the compactor, a secondary cutting mill with screening, and fine material recirculation.

Upon request, a pre-shredding solution tailored to your specific requirements can be offered. Trials for suitability and sampling can be conducted in our technical center.
