Hartford HCMC-1682 Vertical Machining Center – Year 2017

The Hartford HCMC-1682 vertical machining center is an ideal solution for medium and large-size machining operations that require high structural rigidity, reliability, and precision. Thanks to its robust construction and ISO 50 spindle, this machine is particularly suited for roughing and finishing operations on steel, cast iron, and high-strength materials.

Equipped with a Hartrol Plus 1 (Mitsubishi) CNC control, the machining center offers generous travels of 1,600 x 820 x 820 mm, allowing for the machining of large components with a table load capacity of up to 2,200 kg.

The two-range spindle, with power up to 18.5 kW and a maximum speed of 6,000 rpm, delivers excellent chip removal performance and high torque at low speeds.

The machine is fitted with a 40-position automatic tool changer, high-pressure through-spindle coolant, chip conveyor, and dedicated spindle chiller, making it suitable for intensive and continuous production.
