The system is designed for the automatic inductive hardening of screws and bolts in sizes M8 and M10. The equipment was built by Grimm Zuführtechnik and has a throughput capacity of approximately 70–80 parts per minute, depending on the component. It is equipped with various monitoring options (temperature, component height, component type, rotation, etc.).

Components are conveyed from a hopper belt to a linear feeder via a steep conveyor, and from there, they are singled and transferred into an 8-position index table, each station featuring 2 nests.

A 50kW HF generator from IDEA is connected to the system, offering additional monitoring functions (energy input, earth fault monitoring, flow rate and inductor water temperature, etc.).

The system has its own tank for quenching water, from which components are discharged using a magnetic conveyor belt. Afterwards, the components are demagnetized. Filtering of the quenching medium is performed via a cartridge filter.

Both the system and the generator are prepared for connection to a central cooling system.

Due to currently unconnected cooling, the system is only partially operational but is available for inspection by interested buyers.

The equipment was manufactured in 2019 and, due to the impact of COVID-19 and related loss of orders, it has unfortunately never been in continuous operation—the condition is as new.
