The Fill 3D Ultrasonic Cutter enables three-dimensional contour trimming of fiber-reinforced plastics using ultrasonic-activated cutting systems.

Principle:
The linear axis gantry allows precise guidance of the ultrasonic blade with minimal space requirements and simple kinematics. Thanks to the Siemens CNC control 840 D, the trimming device can be programmed like a machining center. Tool corrections or path changes can easily be made directly on the machine. The machine is equipped as standard with a 20 kHz ultrasonic cutting unit, but can also be fitted with alternative systems. The blade is equipped with a separate rotary axis to allow cutting of tight radii and to save on other axis movements (5 + 1 axes).
