The main components of the grinding machine include: base, carriage, column with grinding wheel spindle head, rotary table, and control cabinet. The table is driven by a mechanical gearbox and a reducer-inverter assembly, executing a rotary motion. The rotational speed of the table is regulated by a potentiometer located on the machine's control panel. In manual operation mode, the machine will allow for pulse rotation of the table from the operator’s panel. The column, together with the spindle head, performs cross-feed movement on linear guides mounted on the base. This traverse is actuated by a ball screw with a belt drive and asynchronous motor controlled by a frequency inverter.

The vertical movement is performed by the spindle head along the column’s sliding guides. Vertical feed is powered by a ball screw. The continuous movement of the column is steplessly adjustable, with values set from the control panel.

The machine will be equipped with a direct digital readout for the vertical axis with 0.001 mm resolution. The operator’s panel will feature an electronic handwheel for manual vertical axis feed, as well as an HMI operator panel (programmable display). The grinder will have infinitely variable speed control for both the grinding wheel spindle and the rotary table. The machine will be capable of fully automatic operation, with programmability for spark-out passes and all grinding cycle parameters required for automatic operation.

Safe operation is ensured by a semi-enclosed cabin and all CE-compliant electrical and mechanical safety features.
