Emmegi Quadra L1

The QUADRA L1 consists of an automatic loading magazine and a gripper feed system for profile lengths up to 7,500 mm. The feed transports the profile bar to the machining unit, which is equipped with six spindle motors and can perform drilling and milling operations all around the profile. The saw module operates on three axes and is fitted with a 600 mm diameter saw blade. Once machining is complete, the finished part is transported out of the working area to the unloading table by an unloading unit, where it is moved to the pick-up position via motorized conveyor belts. The machining area is fully enclosed and can optionally be equipped with sound-absorbing mats.

The automatic loading magazine has a capacity of up to 15 profiles with a width of 100 mm. The profiles are transported to the gripper position via a belt conveyor.

The automatic 3-axis CNC feed unit positions itself depending on the profile data—length and cross-section—to pick up and feed the bar into the machining process. The gripper clamps the profile bar at a pre-defined position specified in the drawing.

The 600 mm saw blade, with its 3-axis movement capabilities, enables coverage of a large cutting area.
