Phantomatic X 6 HP

Machining center with 4 CNC-controlled axes for processing profile bars or parts made of aluminum, PVC, non-ferrous metals, and steel up to 7.7 meters in length.

Operating mode 1: Utilization of the full available processing length of up to 7.7 m
Operating mode 2: In pendulum operation, which divides the machine into two working zones. In this mode, the machine can be loaded and unloaded alternately on either side while machining takes place on the other side. With the X6 HP model, positioning of the clamps is managed by two additional axes, parallel to main cycle time. The machine is equipped with an automatic tool changer with 8 tool positions mounted on the X-axis gantry, capable of holding 1 angular head and a disc cutter for five-sided machining of the workpiece. The 4th CNC axis allows rotation of the milling spindle from 0° to 180° and positioning at any angle in between. This enables the machine to perform operations on the top and sides of the profile at any angle within the available range. In addition, a movable working plane is provided to facilitate loading and unloading of workpieces and to remarkably increase the workable cross-section.

4-axis milling head

The 7 kW S1 spindle with high torque allows for heavy machining tasks. Movement of the spindle along the A-axis allows rotations from 0° to 180°, enabling machining on three sides of the profile without repositioning. Suitable for certain types of steel press profiles as well as aluminum profiles, due to the availability of a lubrication system controllable via software. Its dual tank allows the use of both minimum-quantity oil lubrication and micro-mist with oil emulsion.
