Building on the safety, efficiency, flexibility, and user-friendliness of the CR series, the CR5A surpasses the 5 kg payload limit, opening up a broader range of applications for collaborative robots. With a working radius of 900 mm, the CR5A meets the heavy-duty requirements for order picking, packaging, palletizing, and welding in the automotive, household appliance, logistics, and metal processing industries.

User-Friendly Design for Faster Deployment
The CR5A features the industry’s first dual-channel end effector design, allowing direct connection of multiple end tools. It is also equipped with a visual status indicator on the base for intuitive operational status recognition.

Increased Capabilities with High Payload and Large Reach
The CR5A has a working radius of 900 mm and a maximum payload of 5 kg. Thanks to an advanced motion control algorithm, the CR5A operates more stably and features 50% less residual vibration during rapid emergency stops.

24 Interface Ports for Greater Flexibility
The CR5A supports Profinet and Ethernet/IP communication protocols and connects seamlessly with PLC systems. It features 24 digital I/O ports with industry-leading support for both PNP and NPN wiring for easy application expansion.

High Level of Protection for Safe Collaboration
The robot housing and control unit achieve a high protection rating of IP54. In the event of overload, the robot automatically triggers an alarm. The CR5A is also equipped with an innovative electromagnetic brake protection that reduces the drop height of the end tool in case of power failure.
