Building upon the safety, efficiency, flexibility, and user-friendliness of the CR series, the CR16A breaks the payload limit of 16 kg, thus opening up a wider range of applications for collaborative robots. With a working radius of 1000 mm, the CR16A meets the requirements of heavy-duty picking, packaging, palletizing, and welding for the automotive, home appliances, logistics, and metalworking industries.

User-friendly design for faster deployment
The CR16A features the industry’s first dual-channel end-effector design, which can be directly connected to multiple end-of-arm tools. It also features a visual status indicator at the base for intuitive recognition of operating conditions.

More possibilities with high payload and large radius
The CR16A offers a working radius of 1000 mm and a maximum payload of 16 kg. Thanks to an advanced motion control algorithm, the CR16A operates with enhanced stability and exhibits 50% less residual vibration during rapid emergency stops.

24 interface ports for increased flexibility
The CR16A supports Profinet and Ethernet/IP communication protocols and can be seamlessly integrated with PLCs. It features 24 digital I/O ports with industry-leading support for both PNP and NPN wiring, facilitating easy expansion of applications.

High protection level for safer collaboration
The robot housing and control unit meet the high IP54 protection rating. In case of overload, the robot automatically triggers an alarm. The CR16A is also equipped with an innovative electromagnetic brake protection system that reduces the end-tool drop distance in the event of power failure.
