For sale: Amine scrubbing unit, ideal for upgrading biogas to biomethane (natural gas quality).

Capacity in biogas operation: 450–550 Nm³/h, expandable to 650 Nm³/h.

Up to 99.9% methane purity.

Methane slip: 0.1%.

Power consumption: 0.06 kWhel/m³ raw biogas.

Heat requirement: 0.65 kWhth/m³ raw biogas.

Simple CO₂ extraction possible—liquefaction/dry ice production.

No exhaust gas treatment required compared to membrane technology using off-gas burners—clear cost savings.

Solvent regeneration is equipped with heat recovery at 55/65°C.

The system is upgradable for LNG production with a CO₂ content below 30 ppmv and water content below 0.1 ppmv.

Amine scrubbing technology is exceptionally robust against impurities in the biogas stream, ensuring high plant availability. Compared to membrane processes, this technology is much less sensitive to volatile organic compounds (VOCs; terpenes, ketones, siloxanes).
