Surface grinding machine 400x1000 is an advanced device designed for precision grinding of flat surfaces in the machine industry. Featuring automatic feeds on three axes and digital readout, it provides high machining accuracy while maintaining a robust construction. The key advantage of this magnetic surface grinder is its ability to handle heavy loads up to 600 kg, making it a reliable tool for demanding production applications.

The 400x1000 surface grinder is built on a sturdy bed for maximum rigidity and minimal vibration during operation. The spindle, rotating at 1450 rpm, is mounted in precision bearings, ensuring stable operation of the grinding wheel sized 350 x 40 x 127 mm. The hydraulic system drives longitudinal table feeds in the 7–23 m/min range, while automatic cross and vertical feeds enable precise control of movement. The worktable, sized 406x1020 mm, comes equipped with an electromagnetic chuck for easy clamping and increased safety. The integrated cooling system with a 0.14 kW pump efficiently removes heat and prevents thermal deformation.

In the 400x1000 surface grinder, precision results directly from advanced feed and control mechanisms. Automatic intermittent feed (cross movement) ranging from 0.1 to 8 mm and vertical feed from 0.005 mm enable tolerance below 0.01 mm, which is critical for manufacturing high-precision components. Productivity is boosted by a maximum table feed of 450x1130 mm at speeds up to 990 mm/min for cross movement, allowing rapid machining of large surfaces without sacrificing accuracy. The optimally driven grinding wheel ensures even material removal, minimizes wear, and produces a surface finish Ra below 0.2 μm. The digital readout system for all three axes eliminates manual errors, reducing setup times and increasing throughput in production cycles.
