The CORMAK H - 300SA automatic column-type bandsaw is a high-performance machine designed for automatic-cycle cutting of bars, pipes, and profiles made of steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous metals. Its robust body and sturdy saw frame, combined with a column-based design, ensure excellent rigidity and an exceptional level of stability during cutting, even for the most challenging materials. The saw is equipped with a PLC controller and an easy-to-use touch screen interface.

Manual mode allows all operations to be performed manually from the machine’s control panel.

Automatic mode – upon activation, the entire cutting cycle, i.e., clamping the workpiece in the vise, feeding it to the preset dimension, lowering and raising the arm to the required height, is performed automatically without the need for operator intervention.

Cutting parameters such as the number of pieces, workpiece dimensions, blade speed, and arm descent rate are set from the control panel. The machine stops automatically when a series is complete, the saw blade breaks, or another fault is detected by the controller.

Blade drive is powered by a frequency-controlled motor, providing infinitely variable speed adjustment. In case of blade breakage, the machine shuts down automatically. Precise blade guidance is provided by guides with bearing rollers and carbide inserts. The movable blade head is adjusted according to the dimension of the material, improving blade stability during operation. An integrated coolant system and cleaning brush ensure maximum cutting performance and extended blade life.

Hydraulically forced descent of the arm is regulated via a precision throttle valve across a wide range. A rapid feed system reduces cycle time for individual cuts.

The hydraulic material feed system enables a fully automatic work cycle. The controller, equipped with an LCD display, allows saw programming, signals material end, communicates errors, and shows the number of completed cuts after the programmed cycle time. The maximum feeding length per stroke is 500 mm, with an accuracy of +/- 0.2 mm per stroke.
