Powerful, large metal band saw with a swiveling arm, enabling cutting in a plane perpendicular to the axis of the material as well as at any angle from -45° left to 60° right. This band saw is ideal for cutting pipes, profiles, and solid materials.

Product Features

The material to be cut can be fed manually or with any mechanical feeder, while the tool feed is automatic. The appropriate cutting speed – the speed of the band – is set via the control panel.

The rigid arm is made from profiled cast iron. The drive from the electric motor to the drive wheel for the band is transmitted via a maintenance-free worm gear. The saw blade is tensioned between two cast iron wheels with a manual tensioner and guided in adjustable carbide roller and sliding guides.

The base is a rigid, welded steel body. Inside, a separate coolant tank with an electric pump is installed. The upper part of the base is shaped as a tray for coolant drainage and chip collection generated during cutting. A worktable, with a swiveling arm from -45° to +60°, is mounted to this cast iron base.

The control panel is mounted on a separate arm. During cutting, the main cutting motion is the movement of the band. The arm's descent speed (cutting speed) is regulated with a hydraulic cylinder. The feed rate is set on the machine's control panel.

Two band speeds are available: 36 and 72 m/min. In the lower arm position, after cutting, the band drive is automatically switched off. Safety is ensured by blade guards and micro-switches stopping the motor after each cutting cycle or if any guard is opened. Additional protection automatically shuts off the saw if the band breaks.
